Municipality of Dysart et al releases two tenders (Waste Composition Study, and Waste Hauling & Processing)

The Municipality of Dysart et al is one of four lower-tier municipalities in the County of Haliburton, Ontario. Dysart provides waste management programs to approximately 6,280 residents in 7,083 households (6,887 single-family, 196 multi-family units; 4,192 of which are considered seasonal households). Dysart manages five staffed waste disposal sites where residents drop-off household waste. There is no curbside collection in Dysart. 


Dysart has released two tenders:

  • Waste Composition Study – RFP seeking a Proponent to conduct a depot-based waste composition study of Garbage and Recycling from 100 residential properties in fall 2021. RFP closes October 12, 2021 at 1 p.m. ET.
  • Garbage, Recycling, Construction & Demolition Hauling and Processing – RFT seeking a Proponent to haul and process municipal Garbage, Recycling (Containers, Papers, and Cardboard), and Construction and Demolition Waste for a two year period starting January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2023. RFT closes October 15, 2021 at 1 p.m. ET.
