About Township of Southgate

Southgate has one transfer station and a landfill with another transfer station and composting facility. Using a 3-cart system, it collects recyclables (comingled), compost and waste in rural and village areas using a 2009 Labrie Automizer truck with a Right Hand automated arm and a 2003 Labrie Automizer truck with a Cool Hand automated arm to pick up 240L and 360L carts.
