About Municipality of Sioux Lookout

The Municipality's Public Works Department provides residential pick up of garbage in both Sioux Lookout and Hudson. The municipal landfill, Hidden Lake Landfill, is also open to the public for garbage drop off. Waste diversion initiatives include registration with the OTS, OES and MHSW Programs. Blue box recycling and commercial garbage bin collection is conducted by a Contractor within the Municipality.
