About County of Norfolk

Norfolk County is a municipality of 62,000 located on the north shore of Lake Erie in Southwestern Ontario. Located between Elgin County and Haldimand County, Norfolk is a restructed municipality including the towns of Delhi, Port Dover, Port Rowan, Simcoe and Waterford. Combining the best of urban and rural life, Norfolk County offers excellent recreation, shopping and investment opportunities. The popular provincial Highway 3, known as the Detroit-Buffalo corridor, passes through the municipality. Highways 24 and 59 conveniently connect residents and industry to Highways 401 and 403. Norfolk's economy is varied from strong agri-business enterprises to manufacturing to tourist resorts. Services include county wide collection and disposal of solid waste (garbage), county wide collection, processing and marketing of recyclables, operation of leaf and yard waste collection program, MHSW program and Christmas Tree recycling program.
