The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks has begun open consultation and direct stakeholder discussion on key issues in the drafting of a regulation for WEEE under the RRCEA. The current WEEE program will transition in July 2020 and a new regulation will need to be in place in advance of that date. The OES and the current program will be wound up over the next year. The Ministry has convened several webinars and asked key questions about the form and content of a new regulation.
